Annual Conference Representative | To Be Arranged (TBA) | Every June there is a meeting of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference that brings together pastors and church representatives to set policy for the United Methodist churches in central and southern Illinois (all of Illinois south of I-80). We have a voice and a vote as policy is set for the mission and ministries of our churches and decisions are made concerning such issues as pension and insurance for pastors. |

Education Committee | Chair: Karla Kane (446-9454) - Director of Children and Youth Ministries | Education is a hands-on committee that plans and provides education for all ages. Their primary responsibilities include weekly Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, and special events for children’s ministry throughout the year. |
Endowment Committee | Chair: Terry Schulz | The Endowment Committee is responsible for overseeing the investment and use of funds given to the church for the endowment. They also work with the pastor to provide information and education to the congregation to consider endowment as part of their church giving. |
Fellowship Committee | Chair: Lavonne Haney (742-8604) |
The Fellowship Committee works with the pastor to plan and provide opportunities for food and fellowship throughout the year. This committee is also a hands-on committee involved in decorating tables, set-up, and clean-up. |
Finance Committee | Chair: Joe Webel (217-621-7362) | The Finance Committee is responsible for making recommendations to the Administrative Council for setting the annual budget, stewardship, and educating the congregation concerning their giving. They oversee the work of the church treasurer and finance secretary to make sure that bills are paid and that the church finances are handled responsibly. |

Membership Committee | Chair: TBA | This committee oversees the care of the church’s members, is responsible for contact and follow-up with newcomers, and contact with inactive members. Their work is to encourage the entire congregation to extend Christian hospitality and care to all who have or seek a connection with the church. |
Memorial Committee | Chair: Mary Dawson (742-8008) | This committee oversees the responsible use of all monies given to the church in memory of loved ones. They work in consultation with the pastor and trustees to honor the wishes of families and to meet the needs of the church. |
Missions Committee | Chair: Marge Camp (742-8268) | Missions helps the congregation to be aware of opportunities for giving and opportunities for hands-on mission work in the community and beyond. |
Nominations & Leadership Development Committee | Chair: Pastor Mark Graham | This committee assesses the needs for leadership and committee membership according to the gifts and interests of those in our congregation so that every ministry has the right people to get their work done. |
Pastor-Parish Relations Committee | Chair: Michelle Seipel (446-9821) | This committee oversees the ongoing work of the pastor and staff of the congregation, makes recommendations for salary, is responsible for the employment of all staff except for the pastor, and evaluates the ministry and focus of the congregation. |

Scholarship Committee | Don Forrest | This committee receives applications for scholarships and makes decisions annually for awarding scholarships to members of the congregation who are high school graduates and are furthering their education. |
SHARE | Marilyn Bowhay (742-7391) | The SHARE representative is a link from our church to this community-wide food co-op. We provide the use of the fellowship hall one Saturday per month for the distribution of SHARE food to people in our community. |
Trustees | Co-Chairs: Terry Schulz (368-4478) / | The Trustees oversee the care and maintenance of the church property, including the parsonage. They make decisions concerning all projects to make improvements on the church property as needed and to find either volunteers with the necessary skills or to make decisions concerning the hiring of skilled laborers when needed. |
Wedding Hostesses | Michelle Forrest | When there is a wedding at the church a hostess is present for the hour before the wedding to provide assistance to the pastor and to meet the needs of the bridal party and families as they prepare for the wedding. |
Worship Committee | Chair: Lavonne Rushing (742-8010) | In consultation with the pastor, the worship committee provides the needed leadership and volunteers for special services and Sunday morning worship. |
